My teacher asked us to do our Personal statement for college. What was I supposed to write about? Well, I looked back to a time that was meaningful to me, a time that i felt had changed my life. My essay was called "The American Dream". Why did I name it like this? It's catchy title and we all strive for the same thing in America. But do we all accomplish it? I did, and I still am.

Not all of us are proud of our culture. I am.

Because arriving to the United States was a very important decision for my family and for myself.  I believe that writing this paper was such a success. I had a lot to say as well as many feelings of happiness and sadness. I was able to use a lot of dialogue. I was 5 years old at the time, i wish i could remember more details about my that day.
