Wider vocabulary- . A difference between an A paper and a C paper is having a Good vocabulary. It is indispensable for  more effective writing, it helps your reader know your stance. Using a higher vocabulary in every essay and when speaking can make a big difference in becoming a better writer. For example, writing "People do a lot of things" is very poor and you can improve it by writing "People perform a lot of tasks". Strong verbs can give the audience good information and can have a better understanding. 

• For me, writing with a wider vocabulary is very important. But it is also very difficult because my vocabulary is not as advanced as i would want it to be. I would not want to use the wrong word at the wrong time. I think that is less important, the importance to good writing is for your reader to know what is the point that you are trying to get across.

 

Unity & Coherence - Coherence is a very important, a writer should always be able to organize their thoughts. And the essay should make sense and be continuous.  A lot of people tend to loose coherence by  not staying in topic. It is also very important to make your essay flow when transitioning from one idea to the other. So, it is very important to be able to organize your ideas before starting a paper. 

• I find it very helpful to plan my essay before writing it because like that i can be able to organize my ideas and not be getting out of topic speaking about other non-sense topics. Therefore, Using Unity & coherence is very essential when writing an essay.  

Editing & Proofreading-  Editing and proofreading is important because even when you think you wrote a good paper it might not be. It is very useful to print out a copy before turning it in and making any changes. I think a writer should always have a rough draft because the first draft might not be perfect. Always read it out loud a couple times and have a friend or teacher read it as well. Having grammar or punctuation mistakes can make a difference between having a C in a paper rather than getting an A. Teacher's expect their students not to have so many mistakes and have some what of a perfect paper with no mistakes. 

• I think that having a peer review your essay is very important because you they might be able to catch some mistakes that you were not able to catch. They might also be able to criticize your paper to make it better. Following the re-writing process is very helpful to making a good paper.

It was not until my senior year that I had to write a Literature essay in my Honors American Literature class.  I had to write an essay about books and poems which i had never done before. My expectations were to write an essay of the book "Of love and other Demons" By Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This class was significant for me because I got to learn a different style of writing other than just writing narratives and argumentative essays. Now I am happy to say that I can find examples from the text and support it.

Writing a Literature essay is a very challenging paper to do because you must have a clear understanding of the text and what the exact meaning is. But i think it was also a very helpful because you get to look beyond and have a more clear understanding of the text. When somebody reads your paper you can share different points of views.
 

I Grew up being an ESL student , learning how to speak and read English was very difficult. Being able to distinguish the different kinds of essays and the proper words that I had to write in my paper was very hard to do.  

First to fourth grade I was in ESL classes and i was taught a lot of English.Starting 5th grade I had all English classes. It was very hard to adapt but it was necessarily to do so. It was very hard for me at first to be able to use the correct words and not mix them up with my cultures language. But this topic is very important to me and i will have a lot of experiences to share.I will also be able to have many descriptive examples and have a effective paper.
